Special Class Charges
In certain subjects, special services, supplies or equipment may be used. Costs for these are not normally covered by fees, tuition or departmental operating budgets, and therefore, the cost is incurred by students.
Other Expenses
Books and supplies used by the student are available on or near campus at reasonable prices. IICUT Book Center in Sydney Shopping Center is fully stocked to meet all students’ book and stationery needs.
Charges for Copies of Academic Documents
All official transcripts of students' academic records at IICUT are prepared and released by IICUT Administration Office. The official transcript includes the academic record, signature of IICUT official and the official imprinted seal of the University. Primary usage of the official transcript is for application for transfer to other academic institutions and for employment purposes.
Transcripts of academic records at the University may be ordered in person or by mail from IICUT Administration Office. Official transcripts will not be available until approximately one week after final examinations. A student having delinquent financial obligations to the University will not be granted a transcript. Official transcript prices are listed below.
- Academic Record $1.00 for first certified copy and $0.50 for subsequent copies
- Academic History $5.00 for a certified copy
- Award Certificate $10.00 for a certified copy
Student Identification Cards (ID)
As a part of the enrollment process, each new student is issued a photo identification card. This card, along with the current fee receipt, establishes the student's identity as an IICUT student and authorizes access to certain University facilities.
- All students must carry their student ID during attendance at IICUT and shown on request. The card must be presented when borrowing books from the Library, sitting for examinations, and using IICUT Computer Lab. It is issued for IICUT purposes only and should not be lent and may not be transferred.
- Any student who loses his or her ID should pay the replacement charge to IICUT administrative staff who will issue a replacement card.
- Students should note the student number on the card, which should be quoted on all correspondence with the University.
Change of Address
Students are required to notify the Administration Office in writing of any change in their address as soon as possible. Failure to do this could lead to important correspondence or course information not reaching the student. All students must ensure the Administration Office has been notified of any change of address during vacation periods. IICUT does not accept responsibility for any official communication which fails to reach a student who has not notified the Administration Office of a change of address.
