Why Choosing Economic Fields?

     Economics affects all aspects of our lives, and is a vital component of public policy. Economics combines a rich intellectual tradition with pragmatic and useful skills. Economists work in an amazingly diverse range of careers, including urban and regional planning, environmental and social advocacy, healthcare policy, financial advising, insurance, real estate, banking, business management, public policy analysis, regulation, demand analysis, economic forecasting, economic impact assessment, teaching, and many more. Economists share a common set of analytical tools and methods, but represent a broad range of philosophical and political perspectives.

The field of finance & banking provides students with strong intellectual training in the foundation techniques and issues of the finance discipline, enabling them to understand financial markets and University, to think critically and creatively about financial problems and adapt to the rapidly changing financial environment both in ASEAN and in Cambodia itself.

Bachelor of Economics Science: Major in Economics

The field of Applied Economics introduces students to disciplinary and vocational skills needed to pursue a career as a business economist in Cambodia. The major will develop techniques of critical analysis and acquaint Khmer students with the evolving domestic and international economic environment.
