Welcome to IIC University of Technology Website!
Master degree
The IIC University of Technology is very pleased to offer prospective students an opportunity to study at advanced level in a program leading to the award of the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Commerce (MCom) and Master of Science (MSc).

The MBA degree is generally regarded as an international qualification in business administration which is usually taught as a general postgraduate qualification in management and business. The universality of the MBA makes it well-known to students and employers alike, a feature which has both positive and negative implications. Some MBA degrees are tailored specifically as executive training, fast-tracked by universities in association with industry demand. Most MBA degrees involve coursework subjects in general areas of business which may be undertaken by mid-level professionals who have a technical qualification or professional qualification, but no formal training in management.

The degree is therefore a very attractive option for those wishing to gain formal knowledge and training complementary to substantive career experience.

On the other hand, the limitations of the MBA degree generally relate to its universality. With this in mind, IIC offers an alternative masters degrees, the Master of Commerce (MCom) which has the same selection of mainstream subjects as the MBA, but allows students to study in-depth a specialization by research dissertation. The option of the MCom is relevant to practitioners in specific fields of business to complement an area that gives added-value to their portfolio of expertise.

Entry into the MBA or MCom degrees is by good standing in any undergraduate degree. Cross-disciplinary aspects of contemporary training in management and business administration, welcomes graduates from a wide range of backgrounds, including the humanities, social and natural sciences, engineering, law, medicine, architecture, education, private and public sector management.

On the other hand, the Master of Science (MSc) degree at IIC is a specialized qualification in Information Systems (IT). It has entry requirements relating to numerical or natural sciences and is structured to cover those subjects which provide students with the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge in data manipulation, computer science, network engineering and programming. In all cases, the MBA, MCom and MSc degrees at IIC follow the same pattern of course structure taught at North American, European and Australian universities, that is, the degree can be completed by one year of full time study or two years part-time equivalent. Each are 12-subject degrees. It is anticipated that the majority of students will study part-time, combining their jobs with family commitments and study. Therefore postgraduate study at IIC is timetabled in a flexible way and study modes, teaching patterns and student participation in learning activity, is designed to facilitate a learning experience which is enjoyable, motivating, disciplined, relevant to career aspirations and contributes expertise to Cambodian national development.
